About the role

We are recruiting an experienced Database Administrator to join our team in Lekki, Lagos. This is a full-time role responsible for managing, securing, optimizing, and maintaining our database infrastructure, ensuring high availability, data integrity, security, performance, and reliable backup and recovery.

- Design, implement, configure, and maintain database systems.
- Monitor database performance and ensure high availability and optimal query response times.
- Manage database backup, recovery, security, and data integrity.
- Implement database security policies, procedures, and access controls.

- Troubleshoot database issues and minimize downtime.
- Support database users and provide technical guidance where required.
- Prepare and maintain database documentation, reports, and standards.
- Work with vendors and IT teams to implement solutions and resolve technical issues.
