Our Origin
Born from a Simple Observation
InStreamIQ was founded on a simple observation: information about the Nigerian tech ecosystem is everywhere, but rarely in one place.
Developers search one platform for jobs, another for events, another to research companies, and countless social media posts to discover communities or hiring trends. Companies, on the other hand, struggle to showcase who they are beyond a job description or a corporate website.
What started as an idea to organize this information quickly evolved into something bigger.

The Founder
Bendy Paul Ikechukwu
Founder & Software Engineer
InStreamIQ was founded by Software Engineering student Bendy Paul Ikechukwu, of the Federal University of Technology Owerri (FUTO), who experienced firsthand how difficult it was to navigate the tech ecosystem as an aspiring professional.
Like many students, he found himself jumping between job boards, community pages, event announcements, and company websites—trying to answer simple questions: Which companies are hiring? What technologies do they use? Which communities are active? What skills are actually in demand?
Instead of accepting that fragmentation as normal, he decided to build a platform that connected the dots. Without a large team or outside funding, he began developing InStreamIQ with a long-term vision: to create a trusted source of career intelligence for the African tech ecosystem.
