About the role
Provide day-2 operational support for cloud-hosted infrastructure services and workloads across hyperscaler, private cloud, and MTN Cloud environments. The role focuses on monitoring health, executing standard changes, restoring service, supporting incidents and problems, and maintaining stable, secure, and supportable production operations.
Works within approved operational procedures, support models, access controls, monitoring standards, and change governance. Maintains support documentation, runbooks, and operational records to support effective service delivery.

Responsibilities
- Monitor cloud-hosted services and respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests in line with approved support processes.
- Execute standard operational tasks for supported cloud workloads, including health checks, service restarts, basic recovery actions, and routine support activities.
- Update tickets, support records, and operational documentation to ensure accurate tracking and effective handover where required.
- Support implementation of approved changes and planned maintenance activities for cloud-supported services.
- Assist in identifying recurring faults, known errors, and operational improvement opportunities across supported environments.
- Work with internal teams, vendors, and service owners to follow up on issues requiring escalation or additional support action.
