About the role

The Technology Products & Platforms (Governance & Regulatory) Manager is responsible for driving governance, regulatory compliance, and technical programme delivery across the Group Technology Products & Platforms (GTPP) portfolio. The role leads development and management of regulatory documentation, governance frameworks, and proof-of-concept (POC) programmes, ensuring technology initiatives progress from concept through regulatory and governance approvals.

Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and continuously update regulatory and licensing documentation across the technology portfolio, including pMint and other technology ventures.
- Maintain a comprehensive register of regulatory obligations for all entities and products, ensuring timely monitoring and closure of compliance requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate regulatory submissions, licence applications, and responses to regulatory enquiries.
- Develop and maintain governance frameworks, policies, decision-rights, and documentation supporting GTPP initiatives.
- Coordinate governance review processes and compliance monitoring activities.
- Identify governance and compliance gaps, recommend remediation actions, and monitor implementation.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Information Security teams to ensure adherence to regulatory and Group governance requirements.
- Define Proof of Concept (POC) scope, business requirements, regulatory considerations, success criteria, and acceptance gates.
- Coordinate the delivery lifecycle of POCs from initiation through Go/No-Go decisions.
- Manage programme timelines, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder engagement across Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and external partners.
- Produce executive-ready specifications, governance papers, programme updates, and decision-support documentation.
- Serve as the central point of coordination for regulatory, governance, and POC reporting across the technology portfolio.
- Prepare periodic reports highlighting programme status, compliance progress, risks, and key milestones.
- Escalate critical issues with clear recommendations and implementation options.
- Coordinate engagements with regulators, external advisers, and internal stakeholders to support regulatory approvals and governance requirements.
