About the role

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and operate distributed C# and .NET microservices on Azure within an event-driven architecture at significant scale.

Responsibilities
- Build and operate distributed C# and .NET microservices on Azure within an event-driven architecture.
- Own the entire software stack end-to-end, from idea through implementation, deployment, production, and iteration.
- Design for idempotency, retries, out-of-order events, and failure modes; understand production behavior.
- Use observability tooling (Grafana, Azure Application Insights, logs, traces, metrics) to monitor and improve systems.
- Participate in on-call rotation to operate systems and use incidents to improve platform resilience.
- Collaborate effectively in distributed teams across time zones.
- Apply AI tools (e.g., Claude) throughout the engineering workflow for design, code generation, review, testing, and incident investigation.
- Continuously learn and share knowledge about new tools, agents, and workflows.
