About the role
Growth in Value Alliance (GV Alliance) Partners is a business advisory and market intelligence services firm that assists organizations in achieving growth aspirations through market intelligence, strategy blueprints, IT solution delivery, and business operation improvement. GVA Partners seeks an IT Security Planning & Architecture Resources Personnel (Level 2) to lead cybersecurity initiatives, design secure infrastructure, and ensure compliance with security policies in Lagos.

Responsibilities
- Lead investigations and assist Senior Management in defining data protection strategies.
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives with the Group Cybersecurity team.
- Design and implement security controls for information systems, enterprise applications, and data.
- Lead implementation of information security projects.
- Define and enforce security requirements for applications in development.
- Design, document, and deploy secure infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into SDLC.
- Monitor compliance with security requirements throughout development.
- Liaise with stakeholders on operational implementation of security policies.
- Collaborate with Client Server Team to ensure practical technical plans and sustainable controls.
- Implement infrastructure, configurations, and processes to monitor security events.
- Research new technologies to prevent data loss and service interruptions.
- Document and operationalize information security; keep security documentation up to date.
- Ensure conformance to Cybersecurity Blueprint/Roadmap.
- Provide inputs to strategic plan to identify and close security gaps/vulnerabilities.
- Plan and execute programs end-to-end.
- Communicate and engage with stakeholders.
- Anticipate problems and formulate solutions to avoid project delays.
- Ensure IT division processes, procedures, and policies are understood and adhered to.
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs.
- Create and distribute security awareness materials.
- Measure effectiveness of security awareness programs through surveys, tests, and metrics.
