About the role
X-Force Engineering Limited is an infrastructure and construction contract servicing company. The Head of PMO will lead the entire project delivery function, overseeing five operational units: HSE, Project Planning, QA/QC, Construction Operations, and Quantity Surveying. The role reports to the Managing Director and is based in Abuja, Nigeria.

Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Project Management Office, directing unit heads to ensure cohesive, high-performance project delivery.
- Establish and enforce project delivery standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks across the project portfolio.
- Oversee project planning and scheduling, ensuring baseline programmes are realistic and resource-loaded.
- Maintain executive oversight of HSE performance, championing a zero-harm culture and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure QA/QC systems and Inspection and Test Plans are implemented on all projects.
- Oversee Quantity Surveying for accurate cost planning, BOQ preparation, variation management, and final account settlements.
- Serve as senior client interface, managing escalations, disputes, and progress meetings.
- Report to the Managing Director on portfolio performance, resource utilisation, risk exposure, and financial delivery.
