About the role
Moniepoint is a financial technology company digitising Africa’s real economy by building a financial ecosystem for businesses, providing them with payment, banking, credit and business management tools. The Hardware Quality Assurance Officer will identify quality problems in repaired terminals, working with technicians and inventory teams to test terminals and document defects, preventing defective terminals from reaching businesses.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspection of repaired terminals to identify defects or deviations from standards.
- Ensure repaired terminals comply with specified standards, guidelines, and technical requirements before distribution.
- Perform visual inspection of repaired terminals.
- Implement testing procedures using test sheets to validate functionality and performance.
- Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, and issues identified.
- Collaborate with repair technicians, engineers, and relevant teams to address and rectify quality issues.
- Develop and implement workflow for terminal collection and returning of non-conforming terminals to inventory.
- Keep proper and accurate records of received and returned terminals.
- Identify areas for improvement to enhance overall repair quality and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as delegated by the Line Manager.
