About the role
Comercio Partners is a Lagos-based financial services firm specializing in fixed income securities, equities trading, financial advisory, and asset management for domestic and international investors in Sub-Saharan Africa. The IT/Innovation team builds and runs digital products behind Comercio's retail and institutional offerings. They seek a Mid-Level Frontend Developer to build responsive, accessible, high-performing web and mobile web applications, translating designs into production-ready interfaces and collaborating with UI/UX designers and backend engineers.

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain user-facing features for web and mobile web applications.
- Collaborate with designers and backend developers to create seamless, responsive, mobile-friendly applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript with React and Angular.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and mobile performance.
- Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs across devices, browsers, and screen sizes.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Build and maintain reusable components in line with design system and brand guidelines.
- Write automated tests (unit and component level) and support end-to-end testing with QA.
- Integrate with backend APIs securely, handling authentication, error states, and loading states.
