About the role

The Junior Data Scientist is responsible for the overall quality of the data and sample of the Retail or Consumer audit. The role works closely with production and field teams to continuously improve the quality of Ipsos retail and consumer audit products, ensuring KPIs are produced, shared and tracked across all areas. The candidate should understand market dynamics driving retail audit results, interpret data trends, and prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Estimate universes for existing and future retail audit countries using internal and external sources
- Design and maintain samples for retail and consumer audits
- Sign off on data and manage the Retail Audit System
- Ensure KPIs are produced, shared and tracked across all areas of the retail and consumer audit products
- Train client service teams on methodologies and capabilities of the retail audit/retail execution and census
- Train field teams on proper audit procedures and identification of store types
- Interpret data trends and prepare presentations for internal and possibly external stakeholders
- Interact with clients and suppliers
