About the role
Ahmia Nigeria is building a privacy-first, real-time social presence platform that helps people find things to do and connect with others wherever they are. The platform enables users to discover local events, chat, and organize activities with friends and communities. Ahmia shows users which friends are nearby, recommends relevant events, and supports meaningful social interactions in a secure, privacy-conscious environment. The team is focused on creating intuitive, location-aware features that enhance everyday social experiences for users across Nigeria and beyond.
The Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a full-time, remote leadership role based in the Federal Capital Territory, Nigeria. This role is responsible for defining and executing Ahmia’s technical vision, overseeing product architecture, and leading the end-to-end development of the privacy-first social presence platform.
