About the role
We are currently looking to engage a highly competent and result-oriented AI Prompt Engineer / LX Architect with strong personal & professional integrity to join our dynamic team in the Nile Digital Education Department.
The AI Prompt Engineer / LX Architect will design and engineer AI-powered learning experiences, architecting how generative AI and large language models are woven into curricula and platform features, and continuously refining prompts for quality, safety, and pedagogical soundness.

Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine prompts for AI/LLM-powered features (tutoring assistants, content generation, adaptive assessment).
- Architect end-to-end learning experience (LX) flows that integrate AI capabilities into curriculum and platform.
- Collaborate with learning designers, engineers, and data scientists to translate learning objectives into AI-driven interactions.
- Run structured prompt experimentation and A/B testing to improve relevance, accuracy, and safety of AI outputs.
- Build and maintain a prompt library, guidelines, and best-practice documentation for consistent AI behavior.
- Monitor AI outputs for accuracy, bias, and pedagogical soundness; design and implement guardrails.
- Partner with engineering teams to integrate LLM APIs (e.g., Claude, GPT) into learning products.
- Track advances in generative AI and evaluate new tools/models for learning applications.
- Train and support other team members on prompt engineering practices and tools.
- Monitor performance of AI-enabled learning solutions and continuously optimize them.
